Richard Williams is a licensed U.S. IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), Paralegal, and GDPR Data Controller (GDCA) specializing in helping international founders establish and manage compliant U.S. businesses remotely.
He provides Data Controller services for the processing and retention of IRS Form W-8BEN documentation, facilitates GDPR-compliant international data transfers, and supports founders with privacy-conscious compliance solutions for cross-border operations.
Richard specializes in obtaining U.S. Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) for foreign founders operating LLCs and Corporations in the United States.
His expertise includes remote business setup, tax compliance, and regulatory filings for startups, digital nomads, online entrepreneurs, and international business owners operating in Delaware, New Mexico, Texas, and Wyoming.
As a federally authorized IRS Enrolled Agent, Richard represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). He is the owner of Remote Business Services LLC and provides specialized compliance support for international founders building U.S.-based businesses.
Richard is also a registered U.S. IRS E-Filer and provides federal and state tax preparation and filing services for international founders and remote entrepreneurs. He uses his education, training, advanced knowledge, and extensive experience to support foreign founders in their international business endeavors.
Professional Experience
With more than 9 years of tax practice experience and over 20 years in U.S. federal and international regulatory compliance across the automotive, food manufacturing, shipping, and defense contracting industries, Richard combines technical expertise with practical business experience to support founders operating globally.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior College and has completed advanced training in accounting, taxation, and business through the IRS, AICPA, Eastern Washington University, and the University of Illinois Gies College of Business.
Richard is trained as both a GDPR Data Controller Associate and GDPR Data Controller, with more than 160 hours of professional data protection and compliance training.
He also completed Advanced Paralegal training at Blackstone Institute in Allentown, Pennsylvania, further strengthening his expertise in legal compliance, regulatory filings, and international business documentation.
